Half-day itinerary

A half-day visit to Trinity College Dublin allows you to truly immerse yourself in the historic campus while you enjoy some of the best things to do in Dublin.

Take a Trinity Trails guided walking tour

Begin your visit by taking a historical walking tour with an expert Trinity guide. Discover hidden gems and follow in the footsteps of students who have passed through the university over the last 400 years including Oscar Wilde, Samuel Beckett and Bram Stoker.

Visit The Book of Kells Experience

Tick one of the top things to do in Dublin off your bucket list by visiting the Book of Kells Experience. For the best value, select a Book of Kells Experience & Trinity Trails combined ticket. This includes your guided walking tour, entry to the Old Library and the Pavilion building, which spans over 2 hours in total.

At the Old Library you will learn about the making of the Book of Kells and view the 1,200 year old manuscript up close, before you step into the Long Room to marvel at a breathtaking installation of Earth by artist Luke Jerram.

Afterwards, head to the newly constructed Pavilion building, where your digital journey begins. There, you will experience the Book of Kells and Old Library like never before, through a series of immersive digital spaces.
